Questions about steel buildings
Is a steel building the same as a metal building?
Yes. People use both names for the same thing: a building with a steel frame and steel cladding. A pre-engineered metal building, a prefab steel building and a steel frame building are all steel buildings. What changes is the system: a Quonset arch, a pre-engineered frame, or structural steel.

Anywhere in North America. We deliver to your site, and we build across Canada with a focus on Ontario.
What does brand neutral mean?
We aren't tied to one manufacturer's system. We're an authorized Pioneer Steel distributor for Quonset buildings, we supply pre-engineered buildings from a Canadian manufacturer, and an independent local fabricator welds our structural steel. So we match the building to the job.
Do you design and engineer the building?
Yes. Every building we sell is designed and engineered, and our engineering partners prepare the structural and foundation drawings. Pre-engineered buildings come with engineered foundation kits.
How far do you take the job?
We build the building to framed openings. Doors, interior work and finishing are for your own contractor, which keeps your options open.
